The Sun and Shield Primary and Junior School community is celebrating a remarkable achievement after its learners successfully participated in the inspiring Run for the Bibleless event held at Nakuru High School.
The event brought together schools and supporters united by a shared mission to promote access to the Word of God while nurturing discipline, teamwork, and character among young learners. Sun and Shield pupils demonstrated exceptional determination and spirit, delivering outstanding performances across both the boys’ and girls’ categories.
Our learners rose to the occasion with enthusiasm and resilience, winning several awards during the event. The highlight of the day was an exceptional victory by Mario, a proud Sun and Shield pupil, who emerged as the Overall Best Pupil of the competition.

This achievement stands as a powerful reflection of our learners' dedication, our teachers' commitment, and our parents' unwavering support.
The school community was deeply honoured by the presence of our Director, Prof. Gladys Kiptiony, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. Her presence inspired the learners and reinforced the values that guide the Sun and Shield community: excellence, faith, and integrity.

The school leadership extends sincere appreciation to all staff members and parents for their overwhelming support toward the success of this event. Your encouragement, prayers, and commitment continue to shape an environment where learners thrive both academically and spiritually.
At Sun and Shield Primary and Junior School, education goes beyond the classroom. We remain committed to nurturing learners who grow not only in knowledge but also in faith and character through the Word of God.
The total amount contributed by the school community towards the Run for the Bibleless initiative is currently being finalized, and an update will be shared once the tallying process with class teachers is complete.
We thank the entire Sun and Shield family for standing together in this meaningful cause.

May God bless our learners, parents, and staff for their continued dedication and support.
