What an unforgettable weekend! From Friday morning all the way through to Sunday afternoon, our community came together for a transformative Weekend Challenge centered around a powerful theme: Building Extraordinarily.
It was a packed, high-energy schedule. We kicked things off on Friday, starting at 10:00 AM for our Primary students, followed by our Junior Secondary School (JSS) students joining the continuous sessions at 2:00 PM. Every single day, our students and staff pushed through right up until 9:00 PM, fully immersed in worship, learning, and fellowship.H2
A Weekend of Powerful Ministry
We were incredibly blessed to welcome amazing guest speakers from Kabarak University who poured so much wisdom into our lives:
Friday: Pastor Deborah opened the weekend, setting a beautiful tone and sparking a fire in the hearts of our students.
Saturday: Reverend Justus Mutuku, the Provost of Kabarak University, took the stage for both the morning and evening sessions, challenging us to think deeply about what it means to build an extraordinary life on a firm foundation.

A Sunday of New Beginnings and Rededication
Sunday the 21st brought the weekend to a beautiful, historic close right at Kabarak University.
We started the morning gathered around the swimming pool for a deeply moving occasion. Students and staff members who have faithfully attended catechism classes this term took the ultimate step of faith and were baptized. Standing by the water, witnessing their public declaration of faith, was easily one of the greatest highlights of the weekend.

Following the baptisms, we moved to the main service at the Kabarak University Chapel. We had the unique privilege of participating in the official rededication of the chapel, a sacred moment of giving the space back to God's glory.
The Final Message: What Does God Want From Me?
To wrap up our challenge, Reverend Justus Mutuku delivered a final, stirring sermon answering a question we all ask: "What is it that God wants from me?"
Drawing from Matthew 3:13-17, Matthew 17:1-5, Mark 9:7, and Luke 9:35, he showed us a fascinating divine pattern. There are two distinct instances in the New Testament where the heavens opened: the Baptism of Jesus and the Transfiguration.

In both moments, God's voice broke through the sky with a clear command for humanity. The ultimate takeaway for all of us as we left the chapel today is simple yet profound: God wants us to listen to Christ and pay absolute attention to Him.
With those powerful words ringing in our hearts, the Weekend Challenge came to a close. We are walking into the new week refreshed, inspired, and ready to start building extraordinarily!
Thank you to all the staff, speakers, and students who made this weekend so special. What was your favorite moment of the challenge? Let us know in the comments below!
