Sun & Shield School celebrated an outstanding performance at the 3rd Nakuru Inter-School Skating Championship 2026, held on 7th March 2026 at the Rift Valley Motor & Sports Club in Nakuru. The event brought together talented young skaters from various schools to compete, showcase their skills, and celebrate the growing sport of inline skating.
Our young athletes delivered an impressive display of determination, discipline, and teamwork, earning a total of 28 medals during the championship. The team secured 10 Gold medals, 8 Silver medals, and 10 Bronze medals, a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication of the students and the consistent training provided by the school’s skating program.
In recognition of this outstanding performance, Sun & Shield School was awarded the 2nd Best School overall in the competition—an achievement that highlights the school’s commitment to nurturing talent both inside and outside the classroom.
