On Friday, 20th June 2025, our Early Childhood Development (ECD) learners lit up the field during a vibrant and joy-filled Funday at Sun and Shield School! The young champions took part in a series of exciting outdoor activities designed not just for fun, but for growth.
From the spirited running relay to the playful yet challenging water filling and emptying games, and the always entertaining sack races, our little learners were fully immersed in experiences that stimulate large motor skills development. These activities support the physical coordination, strength, and agility that form the foundation for healthy growth and active learning.
Beyond physical development, the day’s focus was also on nurturing one of our core ECD competencies, collaboration. As children worked together in teams, cheered each other on, and shared moments of laughter and triumph, they learned the value of teamwork, encouragement, and shared success.
The ECD Funday was more than a day of games; it was a joyful journey of growth, unity, and discovery. We celebrate our learners for their enthusiasm and energy, and we thank our dedicated teachers and parents for making the day a memorable success.
