The spirit of artistry and excellence burned bright as our talented learners took center stage at the Nakuru County Music Festival, held at Menengai High School, Nakuru City. This prestigious event, marking the 97th Kenya Music Festival edition, provided a platform for young musicians, poets, and performers to showcase their skills in choral music, instrumentals, and elocution.
Through determination and hard work, our students secured top positions, with 16 items earning first and second place, a remarkable feat that paves the way for the Rift Valley Regional Festival, scheduled to take place at Afraha High School from 7th to 12th July.
Their unwavering optimism and commitment continue to inspire as they set their sights on the National Festival in Meru County, commencing on 1st August. With passion, resilience, and a deep love for the arts, our learners are ready to make their mark on the national stage, carrying the name of Sun and Shield School with pride and vibrant colors.
We celebrate their outstanding achievements and wish them success as they march forward. Let the music play on!
